I got a call from Don yesterday, it was hilarious! He was so tickled at the kitten we have just recently acquired. Those who know me, know I have lots of cats, and to add another one to our household is rather risky!
I am calling this little one Pippy, she is a ball of energy, with a very long fluffy tail, and she looks just like our only male cat Sweet Pea, but without the black spot on the nose that he has. She has huge paws, so I expect she will be a pretty big cat.
So Don called me at work and told me that it just wasn't fair that a kitten could be so cute! He had emptied out a small box that he uses in his studio and set it down on the table to take it back upstairs when he went up there again. He was doing things around the house and when he came into the kitchen, there were these two little eyes peaking up over the edge of the box!
I know Don loves me, cause he likes my cats! :-)
Little Pippy purrs really loud too, which makes her even more enjoyable!
We have two old lady cats that I'm surprised are still with us, they hang out in the laundry room all the time and rarely leave their beds except to eat and drink water. They do not like Pippy, in fact none of me cats like Pippy, but they are starting to get used to her chasing them through the house... it kind of perks up the old dames!
As I mentioned in an earlier blog, I do believe God sent us this kitten at a time when I needed cheering up, so I'm embracing her sprightliness and resting assured that God loves me and sees my every need. Oh and my tooth got better too! God answered my prayers, and I am so grateful. I was able to get my permanent crown put on just in time for all the treatment to begin.
So later today we will be off to the hospital for me to have the MediPort placed, again Lord God go with me, protect me from harm, for this procedure has lots of things that can go seriously wrong with it that are life-threatening. Keep me in your arms and hold me. Guide Dr. Kim as she inserts the catheter into my vein, and keep it from going astray! :-) AMEN
My surgery went well and I am home healing, taking it easy this evening. I'm trying to drink down my 64 ounces of water since I got home at 3:45.... Just about 16 ounces to go!!! Woo hoo... Hope people are enjoying my blog... More info tomorrow evening as my treatment will begin in the morning.
